• Year 1 Trip to Wellington Country Park

  Year One had a fantastic day at Wellington Country Park.  Each child took part in a pond dipping workshop where they used their own net to scoop and examine in detail the variety of life in the pond.   The staff members at the park talked to them about what they had found and helped identified the creatures in the minibeast books.  

  Of course, the children also enjoyed the train ride and seeing all the animals on the farm.  Thankfully the weather was dry and we were able to enjoy a lovely picnic lunch.
