Mrs Goddard warmly welcomes you to Robin Class

We are Robin Class and we are a helpful and friendly class who work hard and look after each other. Mrs Leach and Mrs Westland Rose help us too, both in class and in the playground. If we need help, they are always there to support us with our learning and to sort out any problems that we might have.

In Robin Class we try our very best to follow the Golden Rules. We have a class charter which we signed at the beginning of Year 2. This reminds us that we are all responsible for making our classroom a happy and safe place for everybody. We try our best to be kind, work hard and to listen to the teachers and each other. When we make good choices, we get a marble in our class marble jar. When we get enough marbles, we have a class treat and do something fun which is very exciting!

Our class is a colourful place which has lots of our learning on display for others to see. We also have a Working Wall for English and Maths to support us when we are completing independent tasks. We can borrow ideas or get help with a spelling if we are stuck. We have a cosy book corner with both fiction and non-fiction books and we like to choose a soft toy and read our book to them sometimes.

In Year 2 we have many interesting topics throughout the year such as learning about different artists in Art and Design and carrying out experiments in Science. During the warmer months, we will get the chance to make the most of our outdoor courtyard and explore the different parts of flowers that we have growing. We love learning new facts and developing our skills!
