Rabbit
Mrs Williams and Mrs Mallett warmly welcomes you to Rabbit Class.
We are a happy group of children who enjoy working as a team – TEAM to us means Together Everyone Achieves More!
We work together so that we can fill our marble collection and then get a class treat. We have to follow the Golden Rules – we are all very honest and know how important it is to tell the truth. We have also become much better at looking after property as we tuck chairs in and have become much better at looking after glue sticks by putting the lids on them! We love having Golden Time on a Friday and hope that people make the right choices so that they do not have to miss it!
Our classroom is a lovely place to learn and we enjoy looking out of the window to check on the weather (and spot the squirrels running about having fun!). We all have our own special place on the carpet which we enjoy sitting on and listening to what people have to share. Our learning support assistants, Mrs Rolfe, Mrs Bridgman-Hainy and Mrs Hurst, are amazing at helping us each and every day in so many ways but especially with our learning!
We all enjoy learning new facts and practising new skills alongside. This includes learning who the first person on the moon was, retelling the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, finding out which countries make up the United Kingdom, learning about the artist Matisse and completing a piece of work based on his art, practising our catching and throwing skills, improving our computing skills and many more interesting learning opportunities!
We learn so much in Year 1 where we not only grow taller but we also grow and develop our skills and knowledge too!
