This morning Year R were lucky enough to be visited by Sergeant Lomas and PC Ridley of Surrey Police. The officers brought lots of equipment for the children to explore, including: handcuffs, walkie talkies and 5 different types of hats!

First the children listened to an informative talk all about the role of a police officer, the importance of the golden rules and stranger danger. They asked thoughtful questions and were praised for their excellent manners. Then the children were lucky enough to take turns sitting in not one but two different police vehicles.
