Great Fire of London workshop
Year One had a fantastic day when the Fire of London Workshop visited.
Sally and Greg brought everything the children had learnt in History alive, through drama and storytelling. All children had the opportunity to dress up and act out the sequence of events, as the fire took hold in Pudding Lane and spread across London.
The children have been learning the skills of cause and consequence, thinking about why the fire spread so easily and the changes made when London was rebuilt.
This significant historical event is always a hit with our children and this year was no different. We are sure they all gained from learning in this fun and interactive way.
