Today Year 1 spent a fantastic (and very hot!) day at Wellington Country Park. Everyone visited the farm where the alpacas were very inquisitive and wanted to get to know all the children. We couldn’t believe the size of some of the chickens and we loved the goats and guinea pigs.

Pond dipping was really exciting and we found pond snails, caddis flies, bloodworms and even a leech. Luckily no one got wet!

When we walked around the dinosaurs we couldn’t believe the size of some of them.

We also all enjoyed a ride on the train and had fun spotting all of the letters of the alphabet positioned around the track and had lots of fun playing on the enchanted forest adventure playground.
