On Monday 6^th June, we had a whole day celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. The children came dressed in red, white and blue or as royalty to take part in the day.  We all made crowns and wrote about the Queen - some children wrote a letter to her.  

We had planned a special picnic lunch on the field, but the British weather let us down and so we ate together in our classrooms. 

In the afternoon we focused on portraits of the Queen and the whole school took part in a special parade on the playground, bowing and curtseying to our very own Queen (Mrs Teague!).   

We have put together a special Platinum Jubilee book celebrating the day which will be on display on the entrance area.
