Throughout this week we have been thinking about the importance of road safety, learnt how to sign ‘stop, look and listen’ in Makaton and completed some related activities. But a highlight has to be that today the whole school stood out brightly against the chilly and dull weather as we all enjoyed 'Be Bright, Be Seen Day’. Each year we take this opportunity to remind all of our children how important it is to stay safe when out and about near roads; wear bright clothes and be aware of how difficult it might be to be seen in the dark, (especially at this time of the year!) We have discussed how we must be extra careful when outside, especially on dark evenings and we hope this learning reminder will help keep everyone safe.
