Our Harvest Assembly began with children and staff bringing in their generous donations for our Hart Food Bank Collection - thank you so much all for your kindness and support for our local community. We then sang a WIS favourite song all about harvesting crops and then each year group performed a Harvest-themed song or poem which was a real delight to see and hear (we all loved seeing Mrs Green dressed up as the Dingle Dangle Scarecrow!) The children delivered their performances with great confidence and enthusiasm, and the occasion gave us all a chance to pause and be thankful for what we have. To make the event even more meaningful, we were joined by Gill from St Peter’s Church, who shared a story and prayer with the children.
