Year R were incredibly fortunate to welcome Sergeant Lomas and his team to our school. The police officers spoke to the children about the important role they play in helping people in our community and shared insights into their daily work.

Everyone was thrilled to try on real police uniforms (although they had all also made their own police hats!), explore some of the equipment and ask plenty of thoughtful questions about how the police keep us safe. But I think the greatest highlight for all of the children was being  given the exciting opportunity to climb aboard a real police car - and even switch on the sirens!

A huge thank you to Sergeant Lomas and his crew for giving up their time to provide such a fantastic and memorable learning experience - we are all inspired!
