Year 1 spent a fantastic day at Wellington Country Park. Everyone visited the farm where the alpacas were very inquisitive and wanted to get to know all of our children. We could not believe the size of some of the chickens and we loved seeing the goats and guinea pigs. We also all enjoyed a ride on the train and had fun spotting the letters of the alphabet positioned around the track. Pond dipping was really exciting and we found pond snails, caddis flies and bloodworms. Luckily no one got wet! When we walked around the dinosaurs we were really impressed with the sheer size of them! In addition to all of this, we found time to share some fun playing on the enchanted forest adventure playground. The children were a credit to Westfields and a memorable day was most definitely shared!
