The arrival of the chicken eggs (kindly funded by WISPA) in our Year R shared area on Monday sparked great excitement and curiosity among the children, who eagerly shared their predictions about what might hatch. As the week progressed, the children watched in awe as the eggs began to crack, revealing the first signs of new life. Since then, the chicks have been finding their feet and growing quickly, captivating everyone who walks past! The children have shown remarkable care already by writing cards, reading stories and even singing lullabies to welcome our newest visitors.
