KS1 Christmas Multi-Skills Sporting Event

After school this afternoon, nine enthusiastic, eager and excited KS1 children arrived at Calthorpe Park Secondary School to take part in a round-robin style multi-skills event.
The afternoon began with a very special visit from Santa, who helped get everyone energised and ready to go! The children then took part in a variety of festive activities including Christmas kurling, boccia, retrieving the ‘snowballs’, and throwing hoops onto the Christmas tree cones. They had great fun, showed wonderful teamwork, and embraced every challenge with huge smiles. At the end, each child was presented with a lovely Christmas cracker as a reward for their fantastic efforts.
It was a brilliant event and the children absolutely loved participating in this extended curriculum opportunity. Their behaviour was exemplary and we were incredibly proud of every one of them.
Well done, sports stars!
