This afternoon, seven very enthusiastic (and excited!) KS1 children visited Calthorpe Park Secondary School to take part in a round-robin multi-skills event with other local schools. The session began with an energetic warm-up to get everyone ready to go. The children then rotated through a variety of ‘winter-themed’ activities, including kurling, hockey, retrieving ‘snowballs’, and working together as a pair using cardboard skis. Throughout the afternoon, they showed fantastic teamwork, embraced every challenge and had great fun, all with huge smiles on their faces!

To celebrate their brilliant efforts, each child was presented with a sticker at the end of the event. The children thoroughly enjoyed this extended curriculum opportunity and their behaviour was exemplary throughout.
